Panasonic Lumix G5 for Video?

So I found this on B&H for $500. It shoots 1080p 60fps and has a 4/3 micro system, 16 MP and a 14-42mm lens. It's also mirrorless, which seems to have lowered the price considerably.

My question is, do mirrorless cameras work well for filming skiing/skating and some stills? I really like the 60fps at full quality and the price tag is great. Any thoughts?
 
Ah just caught that. You can only adjust focus with the touch screen.. Is that true with all mirrorless cameras?
 
isn't that what no manual video means? I guess I misunderstood. I'm kinda a noob so terminology still stumps me
 
just get a GH1 for a similar price, same 14-42 kit lens

i bet nearly everywhere is out of stock is its an old model now, but ebay that shit.
