Pakenham

okay so.. since this is the closest hill around(live in kanata), would it be worth getting a pass there? Don't have my license yet so my rents don't like driving that far - I'd get a pass at edelweiss but then again to far away. So what I'm getting at is my question. Is Pakenham going to have any quality jumps this year? I went a few time last year and they didn't have one. I heard they had one towards the end of the season but common, i need to see some jumps all season. their rails aren't terrible, but are sorta bad. Is anything going to improve this year? i only ski there for the park seeing as there hill is absolute shit. So, new rails or jumps planned out for this year?

calabogie isn't too much further than pakenham. I've never been in their park, but I hear it's pretty decent. maybe try for there? the hill itself is also way better then pakenham

I also live in Kanata. My friend is the park manager this year at Pakenham, doesn't mean much because Pakenham dedicates very little resources to the park. Honestly Calebogie is just as far as Edelweiss so you're stuck with Pakenham. I know he is going to try and do his best to make the park better and each year it improves abit.

Not to sure... it really depends on the natural snow since snowmaking is at a minimum at P-Ham. I know he got a new 16 ft box and 15ft down flat rail so far.

P-ham is sketch as fuck. ski there if u want, i only ski there cuz its te closest and pretty cheap. other than that, no. go to edelwise

they had a decent setup at the time that they put the boxes as a DFD, but other than that, it's 37$ for a 85m vertical drop hill...

Ya, once you get comfortable with the setup, they change it :p and their jumps are all warped. But the big green tube is actuly pretty legit

Pakenham is probably the most depressing hill I have ever been to. I went there last year and it was cold, windy, icy and there was nobody there.

Not going to lie, it was kind of a spooky place..
