Painting/dyeing oakley goggles?

I found a good deal on a pair of line miners. Only problem is that the colourway is fucking horrendous.

Does anyone have experience with painting or scraping goggle frames and dyeing the strap?

I would only dye them if they where clear, idk how colored ones dyed would turn out tho

If what is clear? I would only attempt to dye the goggle strap which is bright purple.
 
Do you even try to find the answer or are just fishing for attention?

A box of black rit dye & a clear lens, boom you have yourself a budget bluebird lens
