Painting Bindings?

Im sure theres a thread about this somewhere, but i was wondering if anyone has ever painted there bindings and if so how they did it. Maybe post some pictures of your painted bindings!

Im guessing you want to paint your bindings.. I DO NOT recommend it. Could potentially cause damage or malfunction your bindings, which you for sure do not want to happen. Also, it makes them heavier.

Yes I may paint my bindings, but keep in my i will only be using these for summer skiing and maybe pre season rail parks, as they will not be my main set of skis/bindings.

lol like a couple coats of paint would make a difference

While the paint probably won't make your bindings heavier, getting paint into certain parts of the binding could cause some problems. Either don't do it at all, or be extremely precise with where you put the paint.

I wouldnt see an issue painting just the outside parts. Just dont touch the springs and tape down any part that moves or touches you boot like the afd in the toe piece

I've seen a lot of people paint their orange FKS black and it looks like shit after one day of skiing, would not recommend

Yeah thats what i would do and the bindings i would be painting are the white 2015 marker griffons. Im thinking of doing a teal blue or yellow.

I'm guessing that somebody like you may have a tendency to finger paint with your mothers craft paints.. And when you're trying to send crisp lip on blind tru's, even a single drop of paint could potentially make a man front 2 out. Something you do often.

I painted some free 10s all black and they look good until they chip and look like black and white camo which might be cool to some kids on here.

Painting bindings is dumb. There's no point whatsoever because nobody cares what your bindings look like.

I don't care what other people think, I think it might look cool if done right. Why would I care what other people think?

Ok op. On a 100% serious note, what bindings do plan on painting? If it's a fks140/120/axial 2 toe piece or something, go for it.

But if it's something like an sth 2, I would just let it be.

I agree that the fks would be super easy to paint but unfortunately i dont own fks, the bindings i would be painting are marker griffons.
