My boss got caught up in a bad business deal and has had to get lost for a few weeks while things sort out. Initially, the assistant manager told us all that in his absence we couldn't work for at least 2 weeks and we wouldn't be receiving pay during that period.
But the cool guys in upper management stepped in and decided to give us pay during this leave. Sweet! So my question for NS is:
Where should I go during this?
I've been thinking about going somewhere kind of off the grid but not too far away from Oregon. (i.e. Cuba, Yukon, or maybe even just drive around the states)
any input is valuable and would appreciate anything you guys have to offer. Thanks.
