not my two teams i wanted but who you think is going to take the win?!
im thinking packers by a couple points

ehhh, i just dont want to see the steelers win AGAIN. they really aren't that good, but seem to get it done in the post season. they certainly aren't an exciting team to watch, and the last thing i want is a 13-10 superbowl with teams just milking the run game and burning out the clock

I'm all for the steelers they have been my team ever since I can remember but the thing I hate is when people choose a team to win the super bowl then they act like its been theyr favorite team forever. That's about it lol

RAJI!!

what scumbag is there on the steelers and say ben if you want but im sure if a girl bit your dick youd hit her too

You must be a naive Steelers fan. First there is Harrison who was fined 4 times this year alone for illegal hits. Then there is Hines Ward who has a reputation across the league as the dirtiest wide receiver for his cheap shots after/during play. That goes without stating Ben Rapelesberger.

I really couldnt stand the guy for the last couple seasons but he finally said something respectful for once and wished the packers the best and said he hoped they won, also giving Aaron Rodgers mad props.
Pack FTW Wisconsin fa lifeeeeeee

totally agree.

why couldn't the patriots be here instead? the guys who cheated and filmed other peoples practices, mysteriously during their dynasty-like run of super bowls.

or the ravens, whose franchise icon and most beloved player quite literally got away with murder for ratting out his friends?

or the classy jets, who start a cornerback who has left 9 children with 8 different women fatherless across the country. or who's best receiver sold drugs, threw a glass in a woman's face, was arrested on domestic assault, and cannot seem to stay off the league's substance abuse policy?

or the eagles, who's best player and beloved MVP candidate used to torture, electrocute, and kill dogs for fun and money?

give me a fucking break, dude. the league is full of thugs. you're just a hater. the steelers are no better or worse than anyone else (and i'd be willing to bet if you had either of those guys on your team you'd love their hits and attitude.)

*disclaimer....i love michael vick, seeing as i'm about to graduate from VT. just illustrating a point.

The question is, do you really want a scumbag like Ben Roethlisberger winning a national championship?

GO PACKERS!

fuck yeah!

im a pack fan regardless but just cuz hes a qb doesnt mean he gets a free pass

Haha I never said that there weren't a ton of thugs in the league or that other teams are not as morally corrupt as the steelers. Stop making presumptions; I was only taking about the Steelers compared to a much classier team in the Packers. I am actually a Buffalo Bills fan, so I would agree 100% with you about the Pats and the Jets being scummy teams as well; they were the first two teams I wanted out of the playoffs. I am also not a Ray Lewis fan at all and I am a New Yorker living in Philadelphia so I also despise the Phillies/Flyers/Eagles.
So what do you know, we end up agreeing pretty nicely! Next time, don't call someone out without some information about where they are coming from.

a+, what a classy comeback. not like you were going for a legit in your face comeback, but it is a lot better than the usual fuck you asshole

i didn't really mean to "call you out". more to just illustrate that i think it's foolish to place your loyalties and rooting interests on the basis of morality in a professional sport run by mostly corrupt management and played by a large number of complete and total thugs, whoever your team is.

that said, i'm more fired up over just defending harrison because everyone who watched the NFL this year and has for years knows he was being targeted and singled out by referees and goodell. some of those calls and fines were completely absurd. i could go on and on about this......

no excuse for roethlisberger (even though i don't think he RAPED anyone, that doesn't give him an excuse to go out and act like an idiot, which he did. i know; i live here and have seen it firsthand)

either way, go steelers.

James Harrison plays the game like everyone else should. With fucking intensity. He knows how to make someone hurt, he knows how to deliver a hit that will change the momentum of the game. He's DAMN good at what he does and I don't think he should have to pay money for doing his fucking job.

On behalf of every Steelers fan in existence, fuck you Roger Goodell. You warmed the bench for your entire football career you idiotic fuck.

Furthermore Mr. Goodell, you can go fuck yourself for changing the number of regular season games from 16 to 18. As nice as it is to see more regular season games, it comes at the expense of the players. Playing 17 games is a difficult prospect for any professional athlete, especially for football players because of the nature of the game.

Harrison said earlier in the season that he is out to hurt people on the field. Of course he should be targeted for saying such an idiotic statement like that. He claims that he doesn't want to injure players, but come on, how can Harrison know beforehand whether or not he will injure or just "hurt" someone right before contact? Ask Cribbs what he thought Harrison's intentions were.
Roethlisberger has been accused of rape THREE TIMES! You don't think that he is getting the celebrity O.J. Simpson treatment in these trials?

BEN DIDN'T RAPE ANYONE.

thank you, sir.

yes he's a dick.

yes people don't like him but he didn't rape anyone.

ugh haters gonna hate on the steelers no matter what.

1. See the poster above me. Harrison goes out and plays the game HARD. with INTENSITY. in football, fear is a weapon. this used to be encouraged and beloved. see: Butkus, Dick. Tatum, Jack. Taylor, Lawrence. Lambert, Jack. on and on and on.....

just because sheriff Goodell has come in and attempted to seize total control of the league and launch the most bull-shit "NFL cares about player safety" campaign i've ever seen in my life doesn't mean Harrison should have to alter the way he plays. for God sake, he's fining guys for the sake of "player safety" while at the same time trying to extend the season by 2 full games when most guys are lucky to escape a game without a concussion let alone an entire season.

the point is, you go out and ask any of the NFL players right now before any of this stuff started and i guarantee you they aren't complaining. this is what they sign up for. miners sign up with risks of disaster, so do pilots, so do the armed forces, so do doctors, lawyers, (financially).....there are risks in every job and the guys who bleed sweat and live the sport understand the risks and are willing to take them. so let 'em.

i'll never forget watching a ray lewis interview and he said the ultimate goal of football is to take down the man in front of you. to put him in the ground and be the best, strongest man. it wasn't exactly that, but close. that part of football, with commissioner goodell, is fading. the fear, the hard-nosed, physical dismantling of the guy in front of you is waning. it's absurd, but there's guys like harrison who aren't afraid to stand up and continue to play the way they love. i'd say maybe ONE of his fined hits this year was "cheap"....the rest would have been highlight reel hits. maybe he could have a better choice of words, but i wouldn't trade him or the way he plays for the world. it's why i love the steelers.

and ben.....he's been accused twice, not three times. and he's not getting any "treatment" in "trials" because there hasn't been any verdicts. the first woman was a complete psychopath (do some research) and the second case was dropped. imagine that.. a sorority girl wearing a "DTF" tshirt and chasing jerseys, being in a bar underage and hammered wasn't the most reliable source in the world. give me a break..

...again, no excuse. he needs to grow up and stop putting himself in those positions. he was (TBD if he still is) a huge douche. but try going out and hooking up with a slutty, hammered sorority girl wearing a DTF shirt and hanging out with you and all your drunk buddies and let her cry rape the next day and see how it feels. that's a dangerous, earth-shattering word and you better be fucking sure. she wasn't. not even close.

/entirely too long rant

You were previously degrading Ray Lewis for getting away with murder and how much of a thug he is. Now he is your example on how the NFL should be played? It seems like you are selecting facts on both sides of the issue to your own argument and contradicting yourself at the same time.
