P3 edge sticking out- fixable?

I replaced my Watch Lifes(170, too small for me) with a used pair of 178 P3s. They came today and looked fine at first, but then I noticed the edge unerfoot of one is sticking a few mm out from the ski from about bootcenter to the heal piece of the binding. I can push it in a bit myself without much force, but I figured I'd ask NS what they thought. No cracks that I can see, and this seems to be the only problem. It looks like they weren't even used on rails other than this. Also I'll be going to evo sometime in the next few days and if there's anything they can do for a decent price I'll do that, otherwise I'll return the P3s(that I paid little for). Pics:

I'm thinking some glue or epoxy or somethin like that should do it, but I'll listen to what NS says!

Epoxy and a vise the width of your ski should fix that. I would return them and get a different pair if you have the option. A number of shots on rails and you risk them pulling out over time; even after gluing.

Thanks thomas!

and thegreyarea, can't return them for another pair, just like $85. I suck at rails and have other skis I can use(pipe cleaners, and One Lifes). I mostly got these as a shorter(than pipe cleaners which measure 183-184 along the base) stiffer jump ski that I don't have to care a ton about.

Haha, yep. Pretty good deal if this is fixable, but I'm gonna be pissed if I even have to pay shipping to return them. They in no way mentioned this problem they should have seen just quickly looking over the skis. If I had paid much more than I did I would have returned them, but I'm betting I can get some time on these working well.

I should be gettin to Evo tomorrow for boot work and to talk about these with them.

Anybody know much about mounting these? I'm not sure if there even is a marked reco. mount. I'm thinking -2 or -2.5 since that where my PCs are and I like them, but if it would help much to go farther back I'll do that.

ya they are fixable. like a couple others have said glue it and the clamp the edge or for around $60 you could get a shop to do it if you dont feel comfortable doing it yourself

Ouch- I doubt Evo would charge that much(especially if I will pay for them mounting the skis), but if they do I'll do it myself.

So what glue? I have waterproof wood glue, but I'm guessing epoxy would be best?

^thanks!

Evo said it's worse than I thought, $60+ fix, and they said talk to scott about replacing that one ski and see what they say. I'll try that and return them if it doesn't work, I might as well just save another 100 for when a cheap pair of good skis pops up here.
