I need your help.

So i went to my local shop today to get my bindings mounted up to my joystick these. Immediately when i gave them the binding they were puzzled about them and didnt know how they would mount them to the ski (ammatures). I asked what was wrong and they said some thing about a jig and also they said the bindings needed a base plate which i was very skeptical about because ive never seen an fks with a plate under. She told me that they would do some research and if they didnt find anything then they would send me away. I never thought it would be that difficult to mount up some bindings unless the people just have no clue what theyre doing. I have all the screws for the bindings. My question is am i missing a piece and are the 155s the same as the newer 140s?

Sounds like they're a more race-oriented shop. Since FKS bindings are race bindings than they would believe that you would need a riser plate. I would advise taking your skis to another shop because they may do something silly to your skis!

Don't give bad advice. any shop that is "race-oriented" knows exactly what fks bindings are and should know exactly how to mount them baseplate or not.

take your skis to another shop.

I hate race oriented shops, this one I go to always gets pissy when you tell them to center mount your skis. My advice is to go to another shop bro.

seems like everyone thinks i should get my skis out of that shop. im going to pick them up before they ruin my skis/biindings. noones answered the question is the old fks the same as the new?
