Sup guys,

Have the chance to head down to Owl's Head this weekend - never skied there before. Just looking for some basic info: how's the snow right now? How will the crowds be on a Saturday? Where do you recommend checking out on the mountain? What are your favorites?

well i'll be there working with the adaptive skiing program on saturday, but what i can say it's usually like is that lines will probably not be bad since i don't think we're going to have snow this weekend and it might be kind of cold. the park is non existent despite that the website says that there is one open.

as for me, i like the two double blacks that go down from the main chair, lake side on skiers right side of the mountain is fun for some fast laps. and lower standard on skiers left is not bad usually. and if you find it icy, hug the sides as usual. mountain usually turns to ice after lunch tho...ski carefully or have your edges nice and sharp.
 
ya, it ain't all that great. the ice is sweet for thinking you're sliding a box. it can get that bad. for the people who come that far south off the 10, i don't know why they don't just keep going to jay..
 
yeah I mean, Jay would be my choice but just happen to have the chance to go to Owl's tomorow. Let's hope this forecasted snow showers turn into something real then eh?
