This thread has been made before and I know it’ll be made again, but my shin pain in the last couple days is fucking unbearable. I run k2 spyne boots with a 110 flex. Foot size is 9.5, boot size is 27.5. They’re as tight as they can go but I’m still completely useless in the park now. Y’all got any suggestions? I don’t have ft money at all rn btw

ok so this helps me.

Sleep on the hardwood floor with no pillow. Wake up at 2am, immediately stand up and scream LETS FUCKING GET IT. then I’m off to the shower. Coldest water possible. Uncomfortable? Good. Breakfast now, I’m eating 7 raw eggs with the shell. Sometimes a banana peel. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. I kick the fence pole with my shin for 1000 turns. On each shin. 3am now, if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do a 1000 now. I then go to a boot fitter for help on any boot issues I suffer from

very helpful thank you

It's possible to have your boots TOO tight. If you have them so tight that you're losing circulation and getting cramps etc I would loosen them one click per buckle.

Could be that your boots don't fit also

If you’re truly a 9.5, 27.5 is too long of a boot and in turn, too much volume in the top half of the boot (where your shins are). Not really anything to do with the boot as much as the size I think brother

Definitely more likely that they’re too big (voluminous) in the upper

Street shoe shouldn't translate to boot fit with a knowledgeable boot fitter.

They shouldn't even ask about your shoes, just measure foot at fitting.

I learned that on NS.

Harold, it's Bateman, Patrick Bateman. You're my lawyer so I think you should know: I've killed a lot of people. Some girls in the apartment uptown uh, some homeless people maybe 5 or 10 um an NYU girl I met in Central Park. I left her in a parking lot behind some donut shop.

that happened to me a few weeks ago but it was specifically from landing beyond backseated trying to land a frontlflip off of a roller basically. if youre getting it from normal landing and just skiing then its prolly as a your boots. 27.5 and 9.5 seems a little off to me but im stupid so who knows. but im a 9.5-10 and i have a 26.5

When you got the dough you def wanna move down I usually wear size 12shoes and I run a 27.5. Also working out your legs to get them stronger def helps a lot. Dosent even matter about size but strong ankles and lower legs help a lot with bracing

My brother got 30.5 scarpa f1 boots once. He’s truly a 28.5. He thought they would be “super comfy on the uphill” and then got some serious toebang

My shoe size is a 11.5, boot fitter said I should rock at least a 24.5 or below if I want to have ultimate control

your boots sound huge. Suck it up and buy boots that fit and get them customized for your feet and some footbeds too

I wear 12s and west 27.5s and probably could go smaller if I wanted to lol

boots too big causing you to bang around in them. Also tighten progressively, start loose and go tighter as you ski, helps a lot
