Owen Wilson Attempts Suicide

i donno. Too popular, couldnt handle the people buying apartments across the street to spy on him, etc. i donno.
 
He's been helping me with an indie film script for almost a year now, and I haven't heard anything about a suicide attempt or hospitalization from anyone, but it wouldn't totally surprise me. I really like Owen, but I don't envy his life.
 
See thats just it, there ISNT more to life than money, unless you're crazy. People say 'what about love' but with money I can fly to any spot on EARTH and I'm quite likely to find someone you like. People seem to forget that more than half of all divorces are the result of MONEY. People die of cancer every day because of MONEY. People change oil instead of going to college because of MONEY. People lie, cheat, rob, kill, and live in filth because of MONEY. So, with all those problems taken care of, rich people invent problems in their lives that aren't really there, or blow ones that are way out of proportion. If you're rich and unhappy, then you're doing it wrong.

If you're going to kill yourself, be a man. Be like Elliot Smith, find your treacherous girlfriend, stand in front of her, and stab yourself in the chest TWICE with a kitchen knife. No more of this pansy wrist slitting and pill popping whilst listening to Dashboard Confessional in your mom's basement.
