u may think this is equiptment catagorie but its not. i just witness a guy skiing that looked like a penguin... due to the xxl jacket when he should a been in a m whats up with this. like i love my big baggy pants and a fitting jacket. i understand the gangster style on the hill but come on some people have gone overkill on the subject. i hate it it also makes them look like migets. ne comments

aha, well im already a miget and since i have pretty baggy outerwear this season, ima look twice as short, shit! but yeah, stuff like that is just overkill and not necessary

well dude, I just had a thread kind of like this and let me tell you it was a very two sided issue. you're going to get pounded because many people think that it shouldn't matter if you look ridiculous to a ton of people it's only if it feels good, but at the same time you'll get people like me who feel that freestyle skiing should not be publicly seen as a bunch of people with extreme clothing styles.

Wear what you want...but there IS a point in which people will start laughing at you.

Personally i wouldn't wear stuff that baggy because it starts to get in the way. But the really baggy stuff is just a phase that skiing is going through so i really could care less what people wear.

Very true thats why companies should step up there product for the taller people so they can have XXXXL if your 6ft

i got XXL XL L and XL, but honestly NONE of it is too big, its baggy its not overkill like those douches, it fits fine just has a nice sag, but like that picture of that last thread on this, that kid just looked like a fag.

WHO CARES!!!!!!!!

wear what ever is comfortable for you

i wear XL cause i dont like my skin exposed when im jumping and movin and shit.....

IF you like XXXXXXXXXXXL then rock it who the fuck cares

as long as its sick and stylely who cares

I got L stuff and I'm 6', and only the jacket could be a bit bigger.

So yeah, some 5'6 people wearing XXL look rediculous, and don't need that much clothing.

However I'm not gonna discourage people from wearing it, because people should wear what they want.

look il just take a snap at it you probably disagree but atleast il try

5`2-5`5 - medium

5-5-510 -large - XL

5`10-6`2- XL XXL

thats what people should wear without looking like complet idiots but do WHAT YOU WANT

pants down around the knees is what worries me. Ur whole butt and crotch region would get cold and it kinda hampers ur movement capabilites. this happened to me once with like 12 year old hand me down sears pants. the button and zipper just gave way and there was nothing left to hold up the pants. It was really uncomfortable.

yeah baggy pants are cool and all but the whole  gangster/badass style and attutude is soooooo fucking gayyyyy.

I find it funny that this is only prevalent in the park. When you get into freeskiing or backcountry people don't wear huge stuff because it's impractical and gets in the way all the time. Not to mention it's hard to skin up something with your XXXL pants around your knees getting stuck in your bindings. However, people are free to dress whatever way they want, and I feel fine being totally isolated from this trivial controversy.

ppl stop makin these fuckin threads, u must hav something better to do with your time than just bitchin about clothin, wear wutever the fuck u want cuz nobody currrrrrs

seriousy tight pants isnt emo!!!  its just what WHITE people have pretty much always worn.  my dad wore sweet bellbottoms in the 70's that were extremely tight and thats like the opposite of emo.   i like the style cause its really just dressing how people do in real life, but while skiing, which is sweet.  plus it just adds a whole new style.

i got with big pants but a jacket that fits good i hate a huge jacket with super long arms and shit.

xxl or xl pants and L jacket.

you must have something better to do than bitch about people bitching. and for this person and the thread maker, learn how to talk

haha your comenting about people complaing about people who make these threads........ and now i'm comenting about you comenting about you comenting about people complaining about people making these threads..... hahahaha...... we all have nothing better to do .... hahahahahah LMAO

I wear tight jeans that I cut to fit over my boots and a heavy hoodie that's pretty big, but I do have a huuuuge ronin suit for when it's cold

ummm does it really matter??

and imagine where i live...the ATL

if you are colored at all, or if you live in the city, the least you wear is XL

i like baggy toa certain point. Im 5' 9" and they sent me and xl coat instead of a L and its not that bad

who cares do what ever gets you pumped to ski

how many more baggy clothes/no poles/where should i mount my skis/ ect... can we have?

The other weekend I wore my friends 3XL tan jacket that he got at pocket change express for 10 dollars. I pretty much wore it as a joke because you can fit 3 people in it, and it was fun to see the reaction people had when they saw this circus tent I was wearing, I tell them it is exactly large enough to fit an AK under and they just get confused. Normally I wear all XL but sometimes its fun to pretend you have a little gangsta in you.

id rather see an emo or and overly done up gangster than someone with fitting gear. just because

yep. people that bitch about other peoples clothes just dont get it. if we all dressed the same, skiing would suck...

yeah, we need some of the overly extreme gangsters, and the goofy hesh surface guys, and the all neon guys to give our sport variety, if we were all one way it would suck.
