Overdue Boreal report

Sorry for the lag since the last update...

The lower CORE park is starting to take shape. We will keep adding to it every time we get a chance to make more snow. The guns came on early than expected tonight at 5pm so we should have a ton of new snow to work with in the morning. It's pretty solid after this morning build. The next step is to start filling out all the corners so we can put in all the stalls and wall features that make that line what it is.

I got a chance to really start working the snow at the superpipe today and its looking better than ever for this time of year. The forecast is in our favor sat night into mon morning with cold west winds. west winds let us stack the pipe with guns and we look to have 10 in there for that snowmaking window. Cross your fingers because it just may be enough to start the real push come tuesday morning.

Once we finish with those guns at the pipe most of them will end up in place to start making snow in the acceltron jumpline!

here's the current line up

Hey does a Tech school still count as a college for the 15 dollar friday rate. I go to Perry Technical Institute in washington for instrumentation. It should count as a college i would think.

as long as you have your school ID, I would sell it to you.

Except its $20 on Fridays.

Jea cj, get yo ish straight son! Only kidding. Thanks for the update eric! That jump is soo much fun as is everything else right now!

Did this just change? Thought I have been selling them for 20. Thats bad I dont know this, lol.

i will be there tomorrow. (friday) I just moved to tahoe and know hardly anyone, so need some fools to ski with. Anyone else goin?

We had too much new snow to deal with morning just to get the park ridable that we didn't have time to add anything new. But we did widen the run and get snow staged for a couple 2-3 additions tonight. If all goes as planned the other cbox will move over and be combo-ed up with the one in their already into a x-box. Also plan moving the podium mini wall tonight. Then in the morning I'm expecting more of the same snow making so we will stage again for more features to move that night. We will slowing keep adding until its full and then by wed next week it will just be a jump line in the old park and the new lower core park.

oh, by the way the guns turned back on at 3pm today and we moved two more into position at the superpipe. 3-4 more will be added for the cold snap starting saturday night. barring any catastrophy, we should have all the pipe snow by tuesday morning :-)

Hey just a suggestion, make the jump report at least quantitative. I know it's always changing but what is medium, might be small to one person and big to another. If you just say 10 ft no one's arguing.

sorry but our insurance company only allows us to use small, medium and large. giving a stated length is a big no no. I totally understand your suggestion..just sorry that we cant report like that.

you've got a great thing going, eric. the park is so damn fun right now! hope you get your good weather and get to keep on making it fresh. thanks.

The fan gun blowing snow on the landing to the new jump is great! Makes the landing fun for night riding, nice and soft.

Also loving the fact the last 2 nights there has been like 3:1 skiers to boarders.

eric,
the halfpipe looks like it is coming along nicely, butttttttt i was wondering when those accelrator jumps are forecasted to be up?
