Overcoming line pauses

What do you say to yourself or think in your mind to over come a line pause and/or deep huck? You have confidence your body can do it and knowledge of the line, you’re not pioneering new lines, but sometimes you get stuck in your head when your trying to progress in no fall zone territory.

For me, hearing lift chatter snaps me into it, thinking about the drop in of tanner hall’s quad backflip clip. Sometimes it’s a song or vintage warren Miller ski clip from the 90s.

What does it for you?

If I don't drop within 5 or 10 seconds I look away and try to focus on something else for a hot minute, then look back, focus and send it. I just find if you freeze up for too long its over, but mentally leaving and coming back to the idea if dropping in helps me
