Over the top advertising.

I love the new design on the website however it seems like there is way to much advertising. I cant deal with it i got one up top one to the side one goes flying across my screen.I understand this is a money thing for NS. However this is over the top.
 
Get over it or get ad block plus.

Nothing is going to happen. Do you really think that making this thread is going to change things? no.

All it does is waste space with another dumbass thread about ad's being annoying.

I personally think the ads are good now. They are almost all skiing ad's and they are all decent. Right now I'm looking at some kid riding a rail on OG wolf anthems. How is that annoying
 
IMO its better becase any pop up ad is now to the right, instead of above so you dont have to rol over it to get to the navigation bar
 
Yep, we actually removed several ad spots, while some others were changed from tall ads to square. The only new spots are on new pages like Community.
 
yeah ive found the adds have been cleaned up allot since the redesign and as long as the top add is never a pop up ill be happy.
 
When we sell ads to our own advertisers, they typically do not use popout ads, but we can't always count on 3rd party ad services doing the same. :(
 
yeah the ads are all organized and have a set place now. i feel like the old site wasnt designed to have all the banners that they had so it got kinda unorganized but now its awesome. no many more are skiing ads which is great.
 
Well iv never really had a problem with the ads at all, but i just saw one for the bible... found that kinda creepy and honestly not to stoked on it.
