Outrgaous phone bill?

i just got my phone bill in the mail and i was outraged. it said i had used 200 minutes over my allowed amount of talk time (300 min). i barely ever talk on my phone. its usually just text messaging. so i went online and checked my account. it said that on my new bill i had so far used 340 min of talk time in 5 days!!!

i really think something is screwing up.

this ever happen to anybody?
 
there was a guy here who's friend had a $16,000 bill, but i'd just call your provider. you can prove you didn't make those calls by lookin at your phone
 
who is it with?

my dad has a wireless card for his laptop and the last bill was over 700. i think his is with at&t though. not sure.
 
yeah somethin to do with this guys internet which he didn't have a plan for stayed on for a month straight. they had teh bill posted in a pic and everything. it seemed true
 
wow that sucks but phone companies tend to do stuff like that. one of my friends had a text message that was real expensive just because it was going from MA to CO but he sent a bunch of them and only one was really expensive
 
same sorta thing happened to me. i went over like 5 days before my monthly payment. and now i can't send or recieve phone calls. stupid virgin mobile
 
i've never really had any problems with telus, excpet for shitty phone reception/service/signal, and a million dropped calls
