II am currently still using black pants from my gaper days. They are ripped and lost all waterproof qualities.

I am not really picky with the style but was wondering when is the best time to buy outerwear. I was looking at FD/virtika (specifically at the v3 and v4 pants) and was wondering about the quality/ sizing.

I am 5"8ish and 155. I dont like it really baggy just a bit. Which would be the best-> small medium or large? Or should I just wait for a more sales later in the year? I have never owned saga, bloom or any other popular ski outerwear so looking for someone to point me in the right direction.
 
Saga is pretty sick. I wear large pants and I'm about 5'10" so large should work well for you! Not sure how other brands are sized but I think large would be ok.
 
Saga is really nice but a bit expensive. Also their stuff runs bagge so a large will be loose, not crazy but if you want a "regular" fit id go with mediums
 
Just looked up their stuff it looks sick. Ive never seen anything like their customizability. Maybe ill buy their coat next time i need one :)
 
If your looking at virtika, now is the time to buy. 50-70 percent off outerwear. I would go with medium or large

All good, virtika is super cheap right now so if they have something you find appealing now'd be the time to buy. I have some saga pants and a bloom jacket, love them. Friends of mine also got some lethal descent khaki colored pants that he loves.
