Im on quite a tight budget for outerwear. I have found a jacket and pants i liked, for a pretty good price. Are they very good quality, and moderately warm?

The jacket is a sessions Pals Tie Stripe.

and the pants are Sessions Radar Herring.

jacket: more on the shell side. It's kinda warm, but you will still need to layer under it.pants: basically the same.
as it says on their website, they are both 5k waterproofing and 8k breathability, so pretty average i guess.

5k/8k is terrible. Go at least 10k/10k unless you just ride park and it never rains or snows.

yeah, know that i think about it, it kinda sucks... but if you're looking for something cheaper, you can always spray nikwax on it

Ya, but if you look around you can find outerwear far better than the stuff he's buying for barely more money. The stuff he picked out is the same as the stuff you find at a zumiez.
