Ottawa Urban Spots!!???

So this year my friends and I really want to sesh out some urban spots in Ottawa. I’ve send videos of sick hand rails and jibs but never could figure out their location. Anyone willing to expose some secrets jibs around Ottawa?!

Drive around the city, Its kinda shit but has some spots. Check out strathcona park, They got a pretty big staircase there that I've been eyeing for a couple years. Go around Carleton university/glebe area there are some spots and a couple schools with staircases and what not. Maybe gat, but I havnt checked it out in regards to urban spots.

the staircase rails by the russian embassy are made of aluminum. take it from my experience, dont try and slide those.

Which one? there is the staircase to lookers right of the russian embassy. Then there is a staircase leading up to that fountain.

the ones going up to the fountain.

ive always wanted to slide these ledges by the history museum in hull. but something tells me security would be tight there.

also there is plenty of rails and ledges by the locks beside parliament and the champlain look out. some level 1 movie had shots of bdog sliding those.

this being the national capital and most of these grounds being maintained by the feds, i couldnt imagine having a great time with RCMP

Legacy skatepark has good hits, me and some lads are usually out there building as soon as there's enough snow

Go check out the archives, its the most famous spot in ottawa, theres 2 dfds one after the other and a couple of other rails. Theres the carleton quad kink at carleton university, theres the down rail at Brantwood park. Those are some of the most famous ones
 
Hey man, know heaps of spots around Ottawa. Might spend the winter there in 23/24 season as I'll go to uni there. Let me know if you keen to hit spots

For opening day and considering what happened last year it’s pretty sick. They’ve got two flat boxes, a long fat bar, downwards waterfall, a frame and a small jump

yeah there's loads of spots

Brantwood park off of Main Street has a sick long down rail that always slides nice

there's some rails near lebreton flats too that are solid

You get kicked out of that spot way too fast to set anything up. I have tried lol
 
I moved away from Ottawa, but I remember there being a pretty gnarly rail at the bottom of the Rideau Canel locks near Parliament. Natty in run, but the kinks looked pretty harsh. The landing was into the Ottawa River so you would have to make sure it had been pretty cold so the ice was thick.

Anyone know if the rails at the start of the locks right beside hogback falls are aluminum? I passed by them this morning and there were some interesting features and rails there, nothing crazy, but they looked fun.
