OSU vs U of O

i was thinkin of goin to graduate school in oregon, and was trying to decide between OSU and U of O. Any one that knows a bit about the towns wanna let me know what the scene, pow, and park are like at em?
 
both are pretty far from the hood and the bach. buttt if you like beer corvalis and if you like blunts eugene
 
What graduate program are you going into? They are both pretty similar as far as access to skiing goes, so I would pick which ever school offers the best program for your major.
 
pretty much what K said, corvallis has a good party scene and just the town is pretty cool, eugene does have some good ass herb though and its pretty down to earth, but there party scene isnt as good as C town. in eugene your pretty far from any decent mountains with any decent park like mt hood would be about 3 hrs away atleast. while from c town would be about 2 so....ya hope that helped a lil
 
Excuse me? Better beer here, I mean shit Rogue has Tracktown ales down here and Ninkasi? Please.. Corvallis has nothing on Eugene, especially if you're 21.
 
If you're going to graduate school the party scene shouldn't really be your focus at all. Skiing for either or is pretty much the same, corvallis is closer to Hood, eugene has Willamette Pass which is about 70 miles away. Just go to whichever one has a better graduate program.
 
ha youve completely misconstrued my point. corvalis is a drunk kid college.. eugene is a high kid college.. rogue and nikasi are the shit.. but people who go to college to get college drumk typically dont give a shit what theyre drinking. so lemme clarify corvalis is about piss beer.
 
OSU's pharmaceutical program is pretty top knotch from what I've heard, but seriously both schools are about equal distance from the mountians. it really doesn't matter.

mt hood gets more snow for sure, but bachelor gets the dry stuff alot more often.
 
It takes me about 2 hours and 20 minutes to get to Bachelor from Eugene. Willamette Pass is like an hour away.
 
OSU fo sho, i go to the cascade campus and if you want a science degree

go to the science school. OU is less science oriented. for the pharmacy

program there is benefit to gettin in of you have you BS from OSU

because i dont think you have to take the entrance exam. dont quote me

on that though. it doesnt sound like you are to sold on being a pharmacist so you should check out what programs they have at the cascade campus becuase the school is 20 miles from bachleor and bachy has way better snow then hood, and the mtn is much nicer
