Anybody seen MSLM's new whale Box its painted like a pink whale

there is a pic on their website www.mslm.on.ca it should be right on the first page if it isn't then u have to keep reloading it until it is because they rotate the pictures

overkill???? this is the same type of rail (exact size and all) that the high level blackcomb park has....not overkill at all. I'm stoked to see who cAn do it.

oh and they must have compressed the photo for the website because in real life it looks to be a good 10 feet high at the top

how is the calibre of thus area supposed to improve if we dont have bigger features like this?

are you going to go pro because you can slide all the 10ft rails at your resort?

Good job getting a real rail jess

i hate boxes, i think that rail looks mad illin, and id hit it all day till i slid the whole thing, and i only hated boxes till i saw that whale, my hearts been won over by an oversized mammal

do you think that everyone slowly progresses with each other at the same time every year? no they dont. So why not have features to cater to pros, intermediats and newbs all on one mountain.

you think that there have never been any pros that came out of ontario? think Doug Bishop, Chricton. In order to make pros we need terrain that challenges them

i totally agree with having challenging features in the park, thats the kinda thing one kid is gonna look at all year and then hit it on the last day of the season, and slide the whole thing, and he never would have been able to learn the long rail without that thing looming over him all year... way to push ontario kirby, cant wait to see what comes next year.

That looks like a lot of fun. I think sliding a round bar thats thats 50' long will be a bit of a workout. Its good to see kirby finally getting some good shit. I dont think that there will be a lot of kids who can slide it seeing there is only like 20 kids at kirby who can do rails on skis.

^true about the skiing, but there are actually quite a few good boarders at Kirby. I honestly don't think people are gonna have that hard of a time on it...as long as it's set up right. I'm gonna try and have it set up so you don't have to book it into it full speed just to make it to the end...but so that you can get on it, get balanced and slowly pick up speed on it.

set it up somewhere crazy...like the landing of the kicker...you know, so we can emulate candide

I'm gonna be riding way more kirby this year.. im gonna try every friday night that im at school. and i cant imagine i would have that much of a problem, i have done the 50' at blue a whole bunch of times

i just mentioned that box because we were kind of on the topic of new things and i was to lazy to make a new thread sorry for the confusion

ohh ok cuz i was going to say kirby is my new home lol..how is the park doing there i was talkin to mark the other day at my work..and he was sayin good things..

that b0x w0nt be neer as hard as it l00ks. i was 0wning a rail that shape in bc last year first day 0ut. and that was my first year0f ridding

true enough, seems as though the future of moonstone is bright... but way too many school trips go there. damn kids.

ya i don't really like all those little school kids that just go to the park but can't ski and they just hit like the corner of the jump and get in your way

Progression is the mother of invention...I was going to build the rail 30 feet long, but then I said to myself.....why do what everyone else is doing...and I mean EVERYONE....Osc doesn't want to be Dagmar, Lakeridge or whoever...let them, be them...let Osc be Osc...I did, also build a 20 foot flat down (single kink) box rail its 10" wide on top, 10' flat, 10' down...and to whoever said rails were expensive, your absolutely right...but boxes are at least three times more money to fab.

Cheers
