Original videos before May 23 2010 temporarily unavailable

Hey Newschoolers...

We all know that the

video system on newschoolers needs work. We've been diligently

working behind the scenes on a massive upgrade to this for the last

year, and we're entering the final phases. Once this is done, NS will

be a strong technical player in the world of video, and we hope that

those of you who still host your video elsewhere will begin shifting

your ski content over.

This will be a long process, and will go through

many phases. Certain things might have to be disabled here and there

while we move, which is just a sign of us switching that system over to

something vastly more powerful.

The first thing you'll notice soon, is that all

original files will not be available. We had no choice but to perform

the upgrade this way. They'll be back for your full quality desires,

but its absolutely necessary that we do it in this order. So just

stick with us, and trust that we do know that the original files are

important.

Thanks for your patience... remember... when you see something happen like this, its just because Newschoolers.com is currently getting more bad-ass. :)
 
how could it be any more badass?

but seriously I am stoked for an updated video player, I have always loved the idea of an NS specific player but its needed lots of work, hopefully this major update smooths all the kinks out and makes the player better then youtube and vimeo combined haha
 
Just to clarify things a bit. You will still be able to watch all the videos in the video section, you just will not be able to download the original AVI or Quicktime etc file to watch offline
