Origin of why guys wear their pants low..

For all that enjoy wearing their pants below their butts.

This trend was born in United States jails. Prisoners who were willing to have sex with other prisoners needed to invent a signal, that would go unnoticed by guards, so they wouldn’t suffer consequence. By partially showing their butts, they showed that they were available to be penetrated by other inmates. Are you adjusting to homosexual patterns, maybe? Reblog and join the cause for a better educated and dressed society.

Someone sent me this article through facebook. I don't know if it's a repost and I frankly do not care. I made this thread because any guy who wears their pants super low should at least know the origins and reasoning of it.

i wear my pants maybe a tad below the waste simply because i hate the feeling of the belt strap resting on my abdomen when i sit down. it chafes, too. and sometimes when you wear jeans really high the crotch crushes your balls as you move around. not fun times.
 
the first time i heard of this theory was when i was listening to Eddie Griffins stand up comedy special.
 
don't get me wrong, a little sag is O.K. i wear my pants so their comfortable, but wearing them so half your ass is showing is kinda ridiculuos. I don't understand how that's comfortable anymore when they're that low..

I sag my pants because I like how it feels when they sit low and besides tight pants that fit at the waist make you look like kevin bacon...
 
Isn't it actually because in jails they were not given belts and the pants were all one size so the pants sagged for some of the inmates?

It actually came to be because in jails inmates weren't allowed belts since they could be used as a weapon.
 
all these threads about pants being low all share a common flaw, there is no legit source. instead i just see a bitchy 12 year old crying about ppl wearing their pants too low
 
Contrary to what you have displayed us with, the origin of why guys wear their pants low is due to the fact of how much a repost weighs.

Those who were "hood as fuck" could not afford a searchbar belt (the only belt ever known to be able to hold up a repost) because they had to buy guns and Air Jordans, which quickly depleted their bank accounts.
