"Organised Freeskiing"

If FIS gets involved with free-skiing and we see FIS comps, will the fun go out of the sport? I mean, think of racing. Will there be teams and training? I think most people are into skiing because it's fun. Everyone likes to think they are the best and try to prove it, but if the compettion gets too serious....

meh, cant make everybody happy. i think it could be good, smaller mountains will maybe concentrate a little bit more on their park if they see that there is a future for it out there

i think to have one or two would be fine... skiing is mostly independent and shit, and i think for some riders to get together on a team once or twice a season reppin their flag wouldnt be that bad... think about it.. most of you have no idea whats involved with this FIS shit when you say 'its gonna ruin us forever' bla bla bla... i just think that itd bring a new side to skiing, and if i didnt work out, then we could all smoke some bowls and get DQd for doping... its a win win situation

i dont like the idea of the FIS taking over or having ski slopestyle or pipe in the olympics. there is too many, guidelines i guess you could call them. they will say how each trick should be performed. it will suck. i think all hte little comps we have plus the X Games and the Freeskiing Open are all that we need.

no see.. there wont be guidlines like that.. its just.. air... tech.. and style.. i think.. thats how they do it in snowboarding... so people can still throw their same old shit... itll be ok..

FIS would straighten out all this dispute between trick names, and to who started this, FIS didnt do anything to racing, its the people who race, who are beyond dedicated to their sport.

FIS need to keep it's nose out of skiing look what they did to snoboarding they tore the cummity in half. You can say all this shit if it's right but FIS is just a evil power hungry organization so we need to learn from past mistakes in mogul skiing and snowboarding and rise up and kick their asses
