Orage dropping the ball?

Yeah I'm not sure why they're so late this year, and I feel like they've been late previous years as well. They might be trying to coordinate their online retail with in store retail. I feel like everyone loses out this way though, because I would rather buy winter outerwear in the comfort of summer, instead of trying to buy last minute before the season starts. Oh well, I really like their stuff and it's usually worth the wait.

I mean the original founder just bought the company back from Coalision.

There's bound to be transitional times when you pull something out of a big machine like that. I talked to Mike Nick the other day, and though they're a bit behind right now they're definitely rocking and pushing forward hard.

I'd just sit tight.

their site says the collection drops october 1.

which i want to add is usual for orage, and i much prefer a later drop than earlier from a market stand point, although with the pace of products moving today is a tad slow, i think companies are better off waiting, creating hype, and not having to push to sales prices before the holidays, as opposed to after the holidays. as a consumer, i want things now, but i can wait.

I wanna know where their marketing budget is going? Masters is ill obviously, the riders they do have are awesome, but is seems like they aren't supporting many skiers. Or at least not the skiing I prefer to watch at this point in my life.

I guess I wanna know if they have an "am" team anymore. Obviously b-dog, will and, C-Lo, chuck, and banks always kill it, I dont know whiteford but I'm sure whatever he's doing is dope too.

I think they do? I'm pretty sure Sander's on that

Yes ! This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Also, if anyone at Orage is out there listening, can you please think about incorporating a jacket for the ladies that isn't super tailored - that includes mesh-lined pit-zips, wrist gators, light insulation and awesome wind/water resistance, I'd be eternally grateful.

I miss my first Orage jacket so bad.

Usually they have three in one jackets, like the original Bala jacket was a shell with an insulating layer. And it was loose fit.

True, but I hope they'll keep pushing because when Orage was owned by Coalision everything was running smoothly and the products were great also. I'm happy it's back to its origins, but I just hope they'll keep going in the same direction they were.

Bring back the Mike Nick pro models

Everything went live a few days ago. Prices are a little stiff with only one men's jacket being less than $300 And two women's jackets less than $300. Ohwell, I guess they need to make money on their product.

We won't be removing or adding anyone to the pro team this year, but who would you like to see us support in the future?

How about this -- let’s get a thread going in Lady Gabber with what you’d like to see in a jacket, and I’ll make sure our design crew give it a read and leave some feedback. Thoughts?

Whenever Sammy's contract with Nike ends and he will be one hot free agent. I have no idea how the team is budgeted but if there's ever a possibility for him to join on, it would be cool to see that happen.

And you should start up a specific thread in gear talk so we can all toss some ideas at you guys. Save those who say, "dildos, bongs, laser machine guns, etc... " I'm sure there are a few of us who can put forward some useful suggestions.

Oh and I forgot to mention that today, Phil Casabon will be swinging by to give our product designers some feedback on his 2015 B-Dog Jacket (samples arrived yesterday).

Stay tuned for a few words and photos on the process!

It would be very sick if you made an article or video about the process of making a jacket.

Like with B-Dog's jacket, show the process of redesigning, testing, making, etc, etc
