Any opinions and critiques on this edit would be extremely nice. I did a large percent of the filming except for my part of course (I'm the second Jake) Any critiques on how to improve my filming and editing would be greatly appreciated and you would receive some K+.

Filmed mostly on a t3i but some smaller parts will filmed on a GoPro.

Its a bit shaky, get that t3i on a Glide cam or fig rig for moving shots and just a tripod would make a big difference. I would stay away from cutting to black as much as possible, Get some lifestyle shots if you wanna fill the beats with them. Some shots would look awesome if the weather was better but there's nothing anybody can do about that. Also the text at 0:34 looks good over top of the footage I would just leave it on there instead of cutting to black, the only thing that threw it off was the footage behind it was distracting if it was just a locked off tripod shot would have been killer.

For my edits I always go through 2nd and 3rd passes just tightening all the shots up and cutting unnecessary stuff or anything that doesn't look right.

All in all super sick edit dude. I enjoyed it! Keep on doing it and really edits will look better the more and more you do them.

Didn't really like the beginning. I thought it was a bit too rough, but close. And lighten it up! I think it would be so much better if you made that a bit brighter, other than that it was tight. Keep it up

I think the different song in the beginning seemed a little out of place. Also what other people said, slap that camera on a glidecam or fig rig. Also a big thing for me is keeping the whole subject in frame, Im not sure why but videos seem a lot less professional when the subjects head keeps going off the top of the screen. Nice video overall though
