Opinions on Drakes newest album

Nothing was the Same is still relatively new. I think it's one of the best albums that came out this year. It's also a complete album. Any thoughts?

lol I heard it the first time this morning and... I actually liked it. I know, I was shocked too. I had never heard his music before, only been taking part in making jokes about how much of a bitch he (apparently) is. Wheel chair memes etc.

thats the kind of shit that annoys me. Bandwagon people who hate on him without actually hearing his music. Yeah some of his stuff is kind of gay, but he really throws the fuck down sometimes. Forever, Over, and 5AM in Toronto are all incredible songs, but everyone is more concerned with him apparently being a pussy. I'm not really a fan of drake, but people should at least give him credit for being a good rapper before shitting on him

Sup everyone. I hated on Drake adamantly since 2008. I liked the song "forever" but would never admit it. By the time The Motto (YOLO) got bit in spring 2012 I started accepting his music. And played the shit out of that song before going out.

When NWTS dropped I downloaded it in full. I can listen to it start to finish and do so often still. "I'm on a roll like cottonell. I was made for all this shit"

Give him a chance, not listening to drake and hating is like never trying sushi and refusing to do so.

I give him credit for his rapping but I'm still going to shit on him for doing all that whiny bullshit. Love the rapping, hate the whining
 
I never was a big Drake fan prior to the album's release, but I actually kind of like Nothing Was the Same. Especially Hold on We're going Home and Wu-tang forever. Hate on Drake all you want but he's a pretty decent rapper and is one of the few rappers who can sing (Drake featuring Drake huehuehue).

He wasn't upper middle class... If you actually look at his story you would realize he didn't live some lavish lifestyle growing. Was he dirt poor like many of the other artists in the rap game, absolutely not, but he definitely wasn't as well off as the majority of kids on this website. And if you compare where he is at now, and where he was as a child financial it is pretty big top and bottom difference.

NWTS easily best rap album of the year, just listened to Eminem's new cd quite disappointed.
