Opinions..? chronics, foils, ar5s, PEs and karmas

i have the black and white mad trix and ive been skiing them for awhile now, and i like them alot for the kind of skiing ive been doing. Thing is, they are really heavy and stiff and have very little pop. i want to improve my park riding so i need something lighter and softer, but something that wont be shit out of the park or break on rails. i realize ill take a loss in mountain performance to get something that will be good in park, but i dont want something useless out of park because thats where ill spend alot of my time. i would try to sell off my mad trix, they are in good condition, and use the money towards the new ones. oh yeah, and im out in the west and get alot of snow. I was considering the chronics, foils, ar5s, PEs and karmas (not so much anymore, heard they were stiff)

PE's are real stiff too man so you might not want them if you're going to spend all of your time in the park...but they will be solid all mountain
 
They're stiff enough to be stable at high speeds out of the park, but soft enough (ollie powerband) to give you tons of pop off jumps.
 
such false information..pubs are no where near stiff..ski some legend pros,explosivs, or something comparable. i can guarantee you wont think of the pubs as stiff ever again
 
yeahh im thinking either chronics or wides now, im thinking wides because i ski alot of pow, but do they loose the park appeal of the original? like i said in the first post, im leaning away from karmas and PEs because their stiff, not saying their bad skis, ive just skied the stiffest twins out there for a long time and its time for something softer. opinions are still great. also, wuts the difference between last years chronics and the new ones?
 
the foils, chronics and AR5 are the wons the pubic enemy are as stiff as a boner. Id say foils if u just want too ride them one season then sell em other wise Chronic or AR5
 
I have PE's they kill outside the park and can also handle the park as well. The only problem is that they are a bit stiff for the park
 
im a bit of a jew when it comes to gettin new equipment because i like to get good shit and have it last a lot of seasons, so im thinking fuck the foam cores. also, do the chrons or ar5s have any issues with delaming?
 
the ar5s are pretty solid, dont think you will have much of a delam problem with them..
 
don't exclude the foils just coz they've got a foam core, i snapped a pair of wood core skis like butter, but the foam core has so far proven bulletproof

foils are a dope ski, one of the best twins out there
 
im thinking either 1 the chronic (if u have any questions pm me if the pm thing is fixed yet) or 2. the Mik D. Ninthwards...
