Opinion on surface?

my opinion is quite based.

both of the pairs i have had experience with have been garbage.

the one pair had the base just crack in half and fall out.

My friends pair just started to fall apart.

both pairs were under a season old.

i am also not a fan of their media.

whats your opinion
 
I love my surfaces, mighta gotten a lemon or something.

what’s your problem with their media? They post a lot of park clips with some cool riders
 
One of the few brands left that actually gives a shit about park skiing, and even tho their durability isn’t good, their prices match their durability so I don’t see a problem
 
I beg to differ, I literally rode a pair of surface balance pow skis in mixed park skiing for like 2 seasons with barely even a tip and tail chip

they care for the culture and thats important
 
I have ridden my givers in and out of the park this szn for about 20 full days and no damage aside from scrapes on the bottom from being dumb and riding them in the parking lot
 
Also detune your edges if you’re gonna do any sort of rail skiing on surfaces. I don’t think their edges are the best quality

Look cool, kinda core but there durability is shit. Some people at my local hill were snapping the givers in half after half a season.
 
fun skis but durability the best. got my 2020 give'rs to last 2 seasons with a bit of fixing. kinda what you expect with the pricing tho. not hating but durability could be better
 
Been riding the give'rs the past 1.5 seasons..probably one more out of them. No complaints. Are there better skis out there? Probably. Surface has done a great job with their branding and social media imo. They make you feel like apart of a community with their reposting of amateur insta content. Just copped some used royales with a few edge cracks. Stocked to ride em next season
 
They’re okay. me and my friend got some and the edges ripped out in the exact same way, i like skiing on mine but i wasn’t abt to spend 550+ on 2023 givers when i could just spend 510+ on vishnu pluses. I’d recommend to somebody who doesn’t hot lap park every run but if you mainly ski rails go for sumn else
