I know that if you open up two ports on you computer you can make you Bittorrent downloads go faster. Which ports are they and how do i open them?

I have the XP firewall. I found direction on how to add ports, which i did. Is that i need to do? Just add them and make sure they are checked off on my list?

ya basically, I have never used the xp firewall before, but at is how you do it on al lthe others generally.

Alright, this might be a retarded question, but I'm asking anyways: When adding ports, do I use my own IP adress when it asks for the adress of the computer on the network? Also, the box is supposed to be checked next to the added ports, right?

Ok, so I've added the ports but it gives me a message saying that the port configuration is not right. Will someone help, please?
