I'll be at Louise last weekend of November, first weekend of December.

Meh, I brought my hellbents up today. Didn't get a scratch on them. Of course you roll over the occasional rock, but didnt see/hear of any mad coreshots today. Super solid day!

At Louise for the next two weekends, all will be there all weekend(s)(working World Cup).

Kicking Horse opens December 9th. Won't be able to make it out for the 9th since I have school. But the 10th and 11th I'll be there

Will also be in Golden (home for winter break) from December 23rd - January 3rd if anyone wants to ski at Kicking Horse with me.
 
they were saying they need a good week or so of -10 to get the full park/pipe up. until then it's just gonna be the prog.. park
 
Rode up the lift with a patrol today, and was talking to him about everything.

Basically, they need a week of -4 of optimum snow making conditions.

Then they will be able to fill everything up.

After they, they have to focus on building the pipe, the new pipe is the same size for 2014 Sochi Olympics. This means it has been dug out, 26' walls, wider and longer. So a lot of work is going to have to go into that.

All of team Canada (including half pipe) will be training at COP this winter, so we'll have some good stuff to watch in the pipe from the chairlift this winter.

This weekend, they plan on filling in the top part of the park, and setting up a few jibs and hits. This will give the skiers and riders an upper park to play around in.

We need to be patient, it'll be well worth it.
 
this is what rabbit hill has open right now in the temp park while the other park will be completed in about 2 weeks or so maybe less.but the temp park is really fun and you get quick laps

-down box rail which is urban style, -down flat down rail urban style, - turbo tube on a down , - wide box

second row

- battle ship rail, or flat down, -butter box stair set, - butterbox, short down rail, - a flat down wide box, wide box

and a jump that you could 7 and do flips on with a side booter wood jib on side
 
^^^ sounds ever so much better than the 2 down boxes at COP... Hopefully this weather and snow helps them out
 
so who will be attending Castle mountain opening tomorrow? every one i ski with is working or broke and cant make it. im down to drive (if i get 15 for gas) if some one wants to go tomorrow...this would be my 2nd time goin to castle.
