Opening Days

I will be living in Revy for the winter so it's a short drive. Got a pass to both mountains though. Seattle to Revy is about 7 hours and Seattle to Stevens Pass is about 1 1/2 hours incase your wondering.
 
I knew this would happen. Decide to work one more week before I head up and Revy decides to open the week I would of been there.

Revelstoke opens for the 28th and 29th for a peep show.

Then opens for the season of Dec 4th.

Kicking Horse got 120+ cms in the past two weeks

Opening day is now December 4th, open for the weekend (till the 6th), then closed for the week, then opening on the 11th again!
 
some one else told me that today ... but they updated their site last night and it still says the 28th. who do you get your data from?

any one been to sunpeaks? is it any good right now? I was thinking of going tomorrow .... but its a bit of a drive from Vernon.
 
so, Red is still saying december 18th or whatever ridiculous date they put on their website, but my roommate just got called into work today to start getting the lodge set up... nothing official, but they are working on getting it open for what we believe to be the 4th or 5th.

again, nothing official.

ya, I really hate all this secret opening day garbage. some hills are worse than others. But

I have come to expect it. Silver Star always opens a few days early, and its always a big secret5 when the back side lift will spin ... then they tell you a day ... and you book it off work .. and they open it the day before.
 
^^ probs to whitewater and red those were my local hills back in the day i still have my seasons from when i was 2 born in 94 pass is 96/97 season:) to bad i live in edmonton now:(
 
snow is sick, a little wind blown in spots ... and a touch crusty for the last 1/5 of the run. I heard they are blasting snow off the head walls. its a shame, they are super deep.
 
again with the change up. On the weekend the plan was for the 5th. So much for my plans of skiing on Sat, it will be bombed out.

Its good for locals, but I am not paying to ski there this weekend anymore. Hello snowmobile.
