big boulder PARK is committed to opening as early as the temperatures

allow with the best product possible- That's why we have been First to

Open, Last to Close in Pennsylvania 5 years in a row now. That is

something we take very seriously around here, and this year is no

exception. We HOPE to have big boulder PARK open tomorrow from 12-8,

with some features and a lift on Freedom running! Our snowmakers &

park crew are going to be hard at work to help us get this done. Snow

Passes will just be, $20 on Saturday. Here's the kicker-We have to have

a good COLD night to get this done....So make sure to keep checking

back for the "official" opening day announcement...
 
^^^I hope this is a Joke, boulder consistently shits on blue every year for opening... They will have the entire mountain open 2-3 weeks before sidewinder even opens
 
haha again, just wait and see...Im not a JFBB fanboy I ski at bear creak and blue mostly, Im just being serious and realistic. Opening day at blue will have the usuals, burma, main street, all the little ones closest to the lodge and at this rate sidewinder will be lucky to be completed by christmas
 
Never been to a mtn in PA since ny usually has one or two mtns open by this time, but currently no mtns are open close to me; Would it be worth a two hr drive to go to BB this wknd? How is their park on opening day? thx

It

didn't get cold enough for us to make the amount of snow we need to

bring you the best product possible. Tonight's lows are looking good for

some great snowmaking. We are hopeful to Sunday- BUT- check back for

official Opening Day update tomorrow morning.
