does anyone know which hills are opening up first and when? i cant get any info frum the websites, and im startin to get cabin fever starin at my skiis just sitting there........

I am not doing the grabs because I am getting a thrill out of touching my ski-JP Auclair

for southern/western ontario - horseshoe and/or blue will open first... and just keep watching the weather and coming on here...

Thunder Bay, NW Ontario here, our hill openned today, (the smaller half). Yaaa, let's hear it for snow makers and our two inch snow fall so far!!!!! .... ... .. . . . .

Horseshoe and Louis open this friday the 22nd, wooop wooop, with a grand total of 2 runs, most likely the bunny hill so they can satisfy the hundreds of torontonians who've never skied b4, dont expect to see anything worth your time till after xmas...

 
think we should go daniel? i dono... since the snowfall in toronto maybe earl bails will be open (yay).. and those runs will b just as good as the ones @ louie and horseshoe (from what that guy said)

oh i wouldnt' count on it, last year they had 2 pittifull and i mean pittifull rails and that was in mid season so i doubt it, louis will though for sho', and prolly even have they're mini-pipe open, but louis will be packed full of hatin' snowboarders, that place is full of haters.

 
Horseshoe might acutally get their shit together if Jess has her way. She has mentioned before that she will try and have rails up for this weekend.

 
like I've got posted...the new opening for Horseshoe is the 20th...that's right this Wednesday!

yea dude... i hate the scene at moonstone. all the kids don't know shit about park etiquite (i hate that word - so hard to spell), they play radio over the stereo, and um... their pipe is wierd.

i'm done bashing moonstone now.

The first park that will be open in ontario will be JJ's Jump park, i could be skiing it now, but im not at my cottage.

tru mike_hunt about idiot kids at moonstone. last year I tore my shoulder after landing on a kid who was just standing behind a jump. thats enuf to convince me that blue is right to have park passes

moonstone's park is usually maintained in mid season pretty decently, but there pipe is fucked, ther jumps are good, rails are good, but i say blue all the way suckas

if sarah burke goes back to her home town for xmas than horseshop might have a better park cuz she will try to improve it and ski there for sure.
