is this list a frame...? i was thinking, if u didnt have to reload it everytime, the site would be faster, just have a meth refresh every 5 mins or something...just a thought

but usually someone logs on or off everytime you load a new page, and also, i have hella slow internet, but its fast enough for me. so all you high speed people should be fine

it's a decent idea, keep them coming. Any ways you can think of that will speed the site up are good and I'm sure will be taken into consideration. Personally, I don't see this as being too practical. Users are always going on and offline and I like how it is constantly updated each time you visit a page. Even if the list was refreshed every 5 minutes instead, I don't see it as saving that much time. The list is plain text - there's no large image files, sound, or video clips that slow it down too much. Right now, the whole list can't be more than a few kilobytes.

It's not a frame, it's a table cell, and it only loads when you load a new page.

And it's fast because it's only recreated once every 45 seconds on the server, so when you load the page, you're just loading a text file.
