Hey guys,

I live in whistler wich is a huge ski resort and for people that dont know it snows alot. The park is sick as is the pow and so is the park. Im 165 cm 5 feet5 and 110 pounds or 50 kilograms. Im small and light but i dont mind a bigger ski than me. Im only getting one ski so need something to do what i want (powder, park possibly big mountain).

Im looking at the k2 obethed and i love it im just concerned about its park performance and weight if anyone could comment on that it would be greatly appreciated.

Im also looking at the line sir frances bacon wich i know is good and pow but am also worried about its wieght park performance and its versitility around the mountain.

Reccomendations are great but i would really like to hear some thoughts on obsethed and bacon.

Thanks guys, ski hard!

i'm guessing JD May's alias... that's the ONLY way you could come off THAT gay, plus they're from Whistler... think about it, it makes sense.

whistler is a sick ski resort, obsethed is a sick ski, skiing is a sick sport u should not do cos u bring a shit name to it and guys are nubs like you who cant ski fo shiz like george pullar

haha well if this is serious, check out the scott punisher as well. Its a really good ski, decently wide and good handling on groomers/park as wel

I'm riding this years obSETHed. I'm 5'11" 165lbs and ride the 179cm.

It is an AMAZING ski for a 1 ski quiver. does everything well (we don't have a pipe, so I haven't tried that).

If you're worried about its park performance. Don't. We don't have any new snow this time of year so I mostly hang in our icy east coast park. the ski performs great. It's not an overly heavy ski at all and paired with a light pair of bindings (i'd recommend marker griffon/jester) it is as light if not lighter then a normal park ski same length mounted with look bindings. I have honestly neaver ridden a better do it all ski then the seth. and considering you live out west, it would be a no brainer for me. im on the east coast and it was still pretty much a no brainer for me. the ski holds an edge like a dream despite the rocker (pretty mellow rocker). I've been skiing for a long time and can honestly give the obsethed the nod as my favorite all around ski.

The only reason I may say not to get it is if you need a competition level pipe ski. might not perform well there, as i mentioned, i haven't tried it.

obsetheds slay everything. always a good choice. blends would be great too, a little stiffer? i think. and no mini rocker.

bacons... .if you want something softer they could be super fun, but dont expect to be able to charge as hard on those as you could on the obsetheds or blends.

another ski to look into would be the moment bibby. its got full on rocker, unlike the mini rocker on the seths, but it still holds its own on hard snow, and slays in the pow. its about the same stiffness as the seth too. the only thing that wouldnt be great about it is 20000 switchups on rails, but none of these skis will do that.
