One Ski quiver for BC (What ski thread #259435)

Hey guys,

i created a thread some days before, that i will go to BC, for half a year. Well now i want to hear your suggestions for a one-ski-quiver for BC.

The ski should be an everyday ski, but because its BC i think that i will go for a wider ski (ca.110-120mm)which is about 188-193cm long and not too expensive (350-500$). The ski should have also a smaller radius (15-21m)

The skis i have chosen so far are:

-Surface Balance14/15 (120mm): Suits perfect to my riding style (switch, more freestyle etc.)

-Line Mordecai (114mm): Really lightweight with a decent tail rocker (like the Balance). Maybe a bit too expensive

-Line Opus 14/15: Comparable to the Mordecai (?)

-Salomon Q 115 or Rocker²122

-JSki The Friend (114mm)

yup thats it.

Do you know maybe other skis that will be perfect for my needs

thx

I like a ski between 100-110 for every day interior BC.

Revy and the southern Koots you may want a bit more width. But it will depend on where you plan to ski. Whistler is a lot differnt than Big White or Kicking Horse, and they've all got different terrain and weather. If you're going to ski Shames, you're probably going to want something to tour on.

I like the 4frnt Turbo for every day use, but I like a longer turning radius.

Check out the Surface Outsider. Great daily BC tool and it's what I use for the same purpose. They're stiff and they charge hard, but still remain playful because of their absurd rocker.

maybe a moment deathwish if you can fined a good deal? other wise they might be pretty pricey.

I'm down in fernie and i switch between line sfb and armada ANTs depending if i want to play around or charge. but i think your looking around the right size

death wish turning radius might be a bit long on second though. but if your after a soft ski with a short turning radius you could also consider the jj
