i have for the past 5 years, and ive never been in an accident. if you arent a retard and pay attention to the road, you will be fine. respect the nug and its affects, dont ever underestimate anything, and pay attention. its not like when im high i see little creatures pop outta the woods and watch the road change directions. doesnt change my reaction speed or my ability to drive. sometimes i even drive more carefully and alert when im high.

As long as I dont drive at the peak of my high it doesn't affect me, but if I rip a bong and then go out for a drive I can definitely feel that I'm a worse driver. My policy is wait an hour after you smoke to drive. Its really not hard to wait an hour
 
I understand your point and admittedly I have done the same for years also- but there's a lot of dumb kids blunt cruising who are too dumb to drive to begin with. I have seen some really, really bad things come from dumb kids as stoned as possible and driving, and I can tell you it's not worth it. not comparable to alcohol, but still smarter to drive sober.
 
You're comparing alcohol to marijuana, because they are both "mind altering substances". When in fact, marijuana does not affect your motor skills like alcohol. You can't say people die from DUI's with alcohol so that makes pot bad too. None of your arguments are valid. I'm done.

As to the only 40 billion you're not taking into account other savings that would come from legalizing weed; less people in prison, less money on policing it and other hemp products.
 
ive seen more death and accidents from alcohol and none from weed, im sorry, i just cannot agree with your point. people need to own up to their actions and accepts the consequences. smoking and driving is a privilige, and no i dont take 5 bong rips to the face and say lets hit the road. a blunt with friends, maybe, a personal spliff, a must.
 
i also dont think weed and alcohol should and can ever be compared at the same level. just like OP has a grudge against nug, i think alcohol is pretty damn evil.
 
my friend was almost killed by stoners smoking on the highway. I won't argue with you anymore- but when lives are at stake I don't fuck around.
 
For someone that spent all of HS driving around getting high with his friends with no incidents ever, I feel pretty safe about doing it. I've driven on a few different substances, and weed is by far the least impairing one of them all. Im' convinced the OP is a troll, from lack of intelligence.

people take weed to seriously . legalize and commercialize the shit and be done with it. Regulate it just like tobacco and alchohol.
 
personally weed makes me extremely positive in every thought, action, perception, etc.. it helps me listen and understand and be open minded. im against legalization however because it will become taxed and monopolized like tobacco. It should be legal to grow in small quantities and decriminalized.

I find myself in some weird middle area with this legalization push. I don't smoke, at all (same as OP), so I don't really have a horse in this race.

On one hand, it is pretty benign, and all this enforcement costs way more money than is beneficial.

On the other, do we really want a bunch more kids running around baked out of their minds? Not so sure about that...
 
sorry let me get my facts straight. it doesn't lower sperm count, but it does affect the sperms swimming ability and less ability to penetrate the egg. lower sex drive is something else that i read somewhere..
