k so i just finished making my backyard dfd out of wood and abs. this is what it looks like

anyways the problem is that i havent gotten used to how sticky the grass is yet this summer, and whenever i land, i have to lean back a fuckload to not flip forward.

ive tried wetting the grass, which works but it gets my clothes all muddy if i fall

ive tried using some of the extra turf i have but i dont have enough so once i get off of it i stick and flip

i dont know what else to try, and im not sure if wetting the grass is the only way

let me know if you have any other ideas, thanks

is your drop in as spectacular as your rail?

and to answer your question, astroturf or that orange fencing work amazingly

same thing happened to me when i first build my drop in. what it did.

get some carpet, any carpet, i have 4 pieces cut from excess carpeting stuff rugs whatever, it makes a total of like 4x8 feet. put it behind the rail. done. i wet it a little, if you wet it a lot its really annoying when you fall, just get it moist (gigity) and you slide pretty well, not fast, just enough to keep you balanced easily when you land.

sparknotes: CARPET!!!!

take some sort of lawn mowing device and cut the grass really low in the area you're landing and put some soap and water sprinkled lightly
works perfectly for a ride away
