One pair of skins for two pairs of skis?

I have a pair of 4frnt devastators (130x105x125) and a pair of armada arv 96's (125x96x117). If i cut skins to fit the arv's, could i pull off using that same pair on the devastators, or would i slip?

Yeah, you're gonna slip some, sure, but I've done worse. If you're just doing short, side country stuff you'll be more than fine.

Real question though, why do you want to tour on ARV 96's? Why not just set up the Devs well and not have to worry about it?

I got daymakers because I didn't want to dedicate a setup to touring. I figured the devs will probably be pretty heavy with fks 14's and daymakers, and that the arv's might be a lighter option. Although I'm sure the difference isn't significant anyways.

Yeah, it's a daymaker setup, the point is not to save weight. If you're going to mostly tour to build booters and jump off stuff then it just makes way more sense to go with the ski you'd actually want to ski good snow, the Devs.

Right on, I'm totally new to touring so the advice is much appreciated! Thanks man!
