One could argue...

One could argue that WW2 was in effect an attempt to settle the unfinished business from WW1 (Alsace-Lorraine, German humiliation, etc). If this whole thing in the middle east blows up into a war including Iran, it will be because of unfinished business with WW2 (Israel being created in the first place, Palestinian humiliation, etc).

That would be a false argument, the problems in the middle east are sprouting from three things. Oil, Radical Islam, US support of terrorist groups in the 1980's.

that is the dumbest logic I have ever heard. And just try and think of a time there was ever peace in the middle east. there wasn't and there never will be

How about when British imperialism ruled it.

To be more precise. The war actually being faught now is reminants of the Six Day War. Not exactly WW2.

Very debatable, wars dont happen for one sole reason. Besides, depending on your viewpoint, who is rightfully defending thier homeland? Which side radicallized the other? I dont think you can blame just one side for starting a war, it takes the breakdown and mistakes of both sides for conflict to occur.
