ON3P top sheet design help

I am interested in ordering a custom pair of Jeffrey 102s with the clear top sheet. Does anyone have photos of what it looks like?

The top photo is a picture from ON3P’s factory and the bottom is what they have online. The two look totally different. Also, do you think there will be an issue with glare with a clear top sheet?

I have a pair & I really like them. Definitely no issue with glare. The topsheet finish is very matte which I was not expecting when I ordered them. On bluebird days the white tip and tail caps become almost translucent.

I kind of like the the idea the top sheet finish is matte. Do they look more like the top photo that I have on my post? Also, on the blue bird days are you able to see the base color?

Yes I do have a pair. They are very cool, and if you get the clear base as well you can see all the way through the ski. I would describe the finish as a textured matte translucent. In bright light you can see through as demonstrated with the photo, but the base you get would definitely impact that as stock green would be shown through from the top I'm guessing.

I don’t think they look totally different. It looks like top is in person and bottom is generated on a computer.

One is a cell phone photo set against a factory wall that isn't particularly bright in shrink wrap (with black tipspacer).

The other is the first round of QSC clears we did with a clear tipspacer + trimmed VDS (to make it see through), shot on a DSLR, in a light box, and processed + then cut / trimmed for social.

Outside the tipspacer being clear on one and black on the other, they will look the same.

You won't be able to see the base color unless you went clear tipspacer + trimmed VDS. In which case, it would look white (epoxy floodcoat), clear (if you went clear base), or if you went sublimated with no floodcoat (the only case you would see any color of note).

The tops have a Pi19 texture which is sort of a sandpaper-esc matte finish. You won't see any glare.

Totally unrelated but I just bought custom Jeffs and they arent even shipped yet but I have such a boner just thinking about my new skis that I just wanted to say I love you and also that you should hook me the dizzy code for charlie murphs so I can use them as snow blades
