ON3P skis not detuned?

I just got some new custom Jeffery 110s. I paid $50 for the park detune because I heard that they do a really good job detuning them. I was looking for the detune but it seems that the edge is fully sharp. It's not rounded at all, and it still can shave my fingernail easily. Do you think that they forgot the detune, am I blind, or do they not round the edges? I heard that some people say they remove a lot of material but it seems like nothing was removed at all.

The park detune is one of those things where you do not wonder if it is detuned or not. So if you wonder then chances are that something went awry.

Why not just reach out directly to them right away though? Mistakes happen and the good folks at ON3P go above and beyond to fix any such - more so than any other brand that I've dealt with - so worry not.

LOL wait, kids are paying $50 for something a rail does naturally?

You've gotta be fucking kidding me.

Go fuck yourself asshat.

Of all the things you could pay for, having a good ski company with precision tools professionally detune your skis to keep the longevity is not a crazy.

Yeah OP could take his brand new skis to a rail and just beat the shit on them to get a “detune”.

OP give a call to ON3P. They might be off from the holiday til Monday but they will get back to you.

Why would he want to eat shit hitting a rail with fully sharp edges for a day when he could...not

Thanks I'll give them a shout when I can.

Instead of just asking the manufacturer you should definitely just make a thread on NS instead.

Thanks mom.

I’ll call out people for being shitheads whenever I feel like it.

Hahaha, wow you're such a fucking hero! So brave.

I love to call people out for wasting money because they suck at rails and can't handle a slight hang up. Privileged gaper pieces of shit.

people need to quit making threads to publicly shame companies for simple mistakes. Call em up. I know it’s scary but they are friendly dudes.

You can usually tell if it’s a park detune. I had fauna detune mine underfoot a little and I can feel where the detune starts. I would give them a call and see what they can work out. A lot of their platform and success is built off customer service. Best of luck
