ON3P Sizing

I know this has been talked about multiple times, but i am looking at getting my first pair of Mango 100’s. I am 5’10 and 225 lbs coming off of Vishnu 183 wets. Im going to be customizing the mangos to be a bit stiffer and have the new ripper rocker, but not sure if i should get the 181s or 186s. Just feel like the 186 will be pretty big as the 183 wets felt like a pretty solid size. Any input helps, thank you!

Down grading from Vishnu to ON3P is a big mistake imo. If you need something stiffer just get the Vishnu key or plus.

181 no doubt since they measure after they’re bent they’re about the same length as a 183 Vishnu, I rode them last year at 5’11 and they were sweet. also hmu I’ll give u mine from last season for cheap

I would personally go 186, but in your case with the acl i would actually go for 181. Also the layup will make an already pretty stiff ski stiffer, on3p is not noodles like wets.

If you were going with a stock mango 100, you could consider the 186 for added stability. As others have mentioned in this thread, on3ps measure true to size and might even measure slightly longer. My 186 magnus 102 measured to 187. In addition, the stock mangos are not a “soft” ski by any means. It may be the softest ski they offer, but I would even consider it stiffer than any of the Vishnu plus model skis.

Since you want to make them stiffer and add the ripper rocker, I wouldn’t really even consider the 186. 181 would be perfect for your height and weight in this construction.

God dammit I couldn’t find the photo, I have the Vishnu one but I lost the ON3P one, essentially it’s a bunch of heights and the joke is regardless of height they all are riding 191 cm skis

Assuming you are going to be using this mainly as a park/jib ski personally I would go 181.

Theoretically, if you liked the size of 183 wets than the 181 Mango is the right choice. For reference, my 191 on3p’s are 4cm bigger than my 189 V’s. Your skis will probably end up being the exact same length, although they will definitely ski very differently on snow.

Side note: Jumping from wets to custom stiff on3p is about the most extreme change you can make in a park ski. How did you like your wets? Are you sure you want the polar opposite ski lol

Keep in mind as already alluded to that ON3P measures their skies differently than everyone else. They meausre before pressed, not after. As a result they run long. My 191 Jeffs are CONSIDERABLY longer than 190 wildcats, which were the same length as my cousins 196 Jeffs. Normally with ON3P's ridiculously big rocker they ski similar, so the ripper rocker may make sense to go a little shorter.

That being said, I would still get the 186s, you will get used to them
