On3p Kartel mounting question

So I have a pair of 186 Kartel 98's mounted at recommended but I feel like I'm not getting all I can out of them in the park. Would mounting them again at -1 from true centre affect their all mtn performance too much? I'm also worried that 186 is a tad long for the park and I should keep them at rec for all mtn and just buy a park ski. Thinking of just pickin up some 181 Magnus for the park but I feel like theyre almost too similar to justify having both skis. I ride 50/50 park and am 5'11. Been skiing for 20+ years and like to charge however still like to progress in the park. Any thoughts?
 
don't get the magnus if you already have the k98. How far back is recommended for the 181 length? The ski is meant to be skid on its recommended setting. If you truly feel unhappy about its performance dont go any closer to center than -2.5. I'm pretty sure that's where Karl mounts his.
 
Why have two skis that are very park oriented...if you're gonna spend the money save it for tickets unless ur a rich white boy then swipe ur moms credit card all u want:)

Each of my paychecks is enough to buy new skis, and I'm still in highschool. It's called hard work, you little window licker.

Because the 98 is probably a better all mountain ski than the Magnus.

Not sure about 181 my 186 kartels I think rec is 5cm back from true.

Especially mounted at rec so far back, right? If I got the 181 Magnus I'd probably mount dead centre ftw

It's not really that far back. There is a lot of tail there at recommended. Most people who think they need to be center mounted...don't.

I have 186s mounted at true center and I ride all park and they´re a blast. Granted I don ride baccountry because I live in Minnesota, but I think that true center would work for it as I rode the closest thing we have to backcountry here, IE an ungroomed area that they only blew snow on, and I had a ton of fun at true center. I´m 6¨2 and 135 lbs for reference
