How are the kartel 98 in powder I live in Pennsylvania so they are more suitable for me rather than the 106, I was wondering if anybody knew how they preformed in powder because I want a ski that can do powder scent as well as park

My 106s did awesome in some pow at targhee. They opened up a new side of the mountain that was unskied and had fresh tracks. Decently deep and super light too. I'm sure they'll do pretty good, although not as well. But for Pennsylvania you'd want the 98. And when you make that one trip a year out west or get that rare pow day you'll have so much fun on the 98 and they'll do what you need them to. I'd pull the trigger on em

Yea thanks I think I'm going to I wish I could buy them right now but I have to ride this season on the k2 presses which i absolutely hate, but I can't complain if I'm skiing.

Dude 98 is more than enough for PA mountains. The few powder days you guy where you truly need a bigger ski im sure you can deal. If you can't ski moderate powder/crud on a 98 mm ski you probably suck.

Hey I live in Delaware and Ski in PA and was wondering how they are and how they have worked in the snow around here.

They are actually pretty fun. Mine were mounted 2cm back from center.

My first 'pow' skis were 98mm under foot. The next two were 92mm under foot. No rocker, skied pow great.

agreed with everyone, the 98 will be a super good middle of the road ski. i use my 97 waist skis for literally everything from rail rat days to pow days. 106 would be major overkill for PA
