Hey guys!

I have gotten some much appreciative help from many people, but also want to see what everyone else thinks about these skis. I live in Michigan. I ski out west about 6 days a year. I make it up to the upper peninsula once a year where I usually will get 1 or 2 pow days. I want a ski that can handle 7 inches of fresh pow, but still make it through the day on the crud/ tracked out snow. Really something I can bring out west as my 1 ski quiver. I am 5'11 205lbs and like a stiff ski.

Help me out here!

sounds like you nailed the description of what Jefferys excel in. They are sick in 7 inches, and eat up tracked out crud. Plus with a -3 mount and a relatively symmetrical shape, they still hold their own if you decide to take a park lap or two.

Yup, I rode them in Utah with 8in of fresh back in November, SUPER fun, rode them in CT on hardpark groomers, they go hard, rode them in CT in "spring-like" conditions, they are steam rollers through crud, and off of booters...the most fun floaty 3s I've ever done.

Such an awesome ski, get them for sure. You'll even want to ride them on random days in Michigan when you just don't feel like hitting the park too much.
 
This. I have them. They handled great for the icy (and i mean glare ice) conditions in NH. I'd take them anywhere. Best purchase i've made in a while.
 
thanks for the help guys! Im still debating buying them with the very high price tag. I have Line chronics right now (92 undefoot), will it be a night and day difference with the jeffreys? I might just sell the chronics so I have a dedicated park ski and then the jeffreys.
 
solid idea dude. i can handle them fine all over the mountain. Great turning radius for some carving, handles fine on ice, and you can just cruise slowly or turn up the heat and go as fast as you can.

Of course then there's the fresh stuff which i have yet to try. NEED SNOW.
 
Ive spent the last few days riding my jeffreys in all sorts of conditions. There amazing. They plow through crud, float so with any amount of powder, and rip groomers. Their fun in the park, but heavy. I find it hard to get 2's off both ways on most rails with them. For jumps there sick. Super fast, super stable, and feel so great on landings. Get them, you will be happy.
 
Jeffreys are one of my favorite skis of all time. If I could only own one pair of skis (for the style of riding I do now) it would be a Jeffrey. Next years Jeffrey will be slightly tweaked and available in a lot more sizes.

All great one ski quivers that fall into your category of riding. Im not saying dont buy the jefferys, just giving you a heads up on some of your other options.That being said I think ON3P makes fucking sick skis and I hope to own a pair someday
 
I've skied fujas and blends before and I can honostly say that jeffrey's blow them out of the park. Best, most fun, most versatile ski i've ridden.
 
also sorry for dub post but apparently the Jeffrey is going to undergo some changes/upgrades for next season and there will be a variety of sizes, if your willing to wait. That being said i think the 186 is perfect length for the ski. Im 5'8'' and the length feels so natural for the dimensions. I wouldn't want it any shorter or longer. I'm sorry but I love these skis.
 
Im talking in terms of a "one ski quiver" category. Obviously the build and ride quality varys between the skis. Having never rid any of them (except for the blend) i cant speak from personal experience.

But yeah your right. Lets forget I mentioned the shoguns kung fujas and blends (even though i still think its still a good ski)

I still think the SFB and PB&J are solid alternatives to the jeffrey... even though the moments are a little narrower.
