ON3P Filthy Rich

Hey NS! I am currently rocking the K2 Domains, and as I slowly grow out of them (later use as an urban ski), I was wondering what my next ski would be. I have been looking at the Filthy Rich, and wondering if anyone has had any experience w/ them and would be willing to share, i.e.: is the weight fine, is it durable, is it all around worth it, etc. Also, if anyone else has any suggestions for a bomb-proof ski with a wider waist then 86mm, I am all ears!

Its a beast. One of the funnest skis ever imo. Look at the Kartel 98, much more of an all mountain slayer but still great in the park. Also, J Skis are bombproof. Look at the J allplay and the vacation.

Personally I haven't ridden them but the people I know who do, and they say the ski absolutely kills it! I've seen the handle butters and big jumps with ease. Overall they seem like a playful ski that can go big mountain and park.

filthys are probably the best all around park ski on the market, a little heavy but the way they ride totally makes up for it.

Durable? Thanks! +K

You rarely have to worry about durability with ON3Ps unless you are very rough with them. I think they are holding up better than my J Skis did.

Jskis' durability in my experience as well as that of my friends has been very poor

He's updated the sidewalls and the lamination process and they're now a lot better than the first few batches. The fiberglass had a tendency to separate from the sidewall, is that what happened to yours? But still, my Allplay firsts have 50+ days of abuse with no core shots, no edge cracks and no delamination. Every ski falls apart eventually but I personally haven't met anyone that has found J's to be worse than any other brand and construction wise you can't really argue that 2.5mm edges, 1.8mm bases, early stop edges (as opposed to full wrap around), rubber shear laminate, and full height sidewalls all don't help improve durability.

I had delam in all tips and tails, edge pulled out 3 days in, like 5 edge cracks first day

You wont regret any pair of skis you buy from ON3P. I recommend ordering directly from their website, they have amazing customer service and just genuinely good people. Its the best company in the industry and their skis are unbeatable.

That's absurd. Idk how yours could fall apart like that and mine have virtually no problems. I even hit the woodward setup all summer, hiking rails all day and haven't cracked an edge yet.
