Only heard positive things on this ski, so I'm considering picking up a pair. How well do they work in the pow? Obviously a park directed ski, but will the rocker keep me floating enough or am I gonna sink and waste away my pow days?

The rocker is just enough to keep you afloat in the shallower of fresh snow.

With the centre mount it isn't the most ideal ski to take out onto the pow, but (imo) it'll work better than a non rockered centre mounted park ski.

Don't expect it to perform any miracles! ;)

So the next question is the jmo I guess, if you have ever ridden them. Is it still fun and playful in the park? Am I still gonna have fun on em, or just too wide underfoot?

I ski minnesota with FR's and they are great in the park. I was at steamboat for a week and i think they got almost three feet of snow that week. I used them one day in about 14 inches and that was slow but still a lot of fun. A few other days when there was 4-6 inches fresh they were really fun, and I did not feel like they were sinking to bad and I felt like I could still control them very well. I have never skied on a fat ski, so I can't compare FR's to a powder ski. But when I ski powder once a year they work fine, and it was still a lot of fun.

jmos are ridiculously fun in the park. i have old ones so they are 96 underfoot but im sure the new ones kill it too. if you are only going to have one ski i would go jmo unless you ride park more than 90% of the time

I have the new jmo's they are center mounted. We got 13 inches last night. they skieed everything fine, deff. could tell my tips wanted to dive a lil sometimes though.
