The al dente is not a bad choice actually. It has a really long nose rocker so keeps the tip up really well. I really enjoyed skiing them in whis. The other ski I would look at is the on3p jmo or the new kartels. They will be better all round then the fr but so long as you don't get them too long you can use them in the park still. But honestly for whistler it sucks to try to get one ski to do it all. The snow is heavy here so you really want some pow, all mnt and park skis although mate you can make park and all mnt overlap depending how hard you ski.
